What up people? This past week has been interesting. It started where on Tuesday all of the leaders had a meeting in Chiclayo. My companion is a leader so I was paired up with 2 other elders who also was changing there comps. Needless to say, for 1 day us three (all of us are from the USA, having 5 months in the mission, me with 3 months, and the other had a week in the field.) were companions of awesome that didnt understand everything. it was Great! After that this week wasnt that good partly because I have been sick the past couple days. Today we are going to have a small party for an elder whose birthday is tomorrow, he is in a different part of Ferreñafe, and then tomorrow our zone is going to a museom, my companion said it is one of the best in the world, but I dont think so. Right now we are just preparing for activities for christmas. Partly because the people are just partying and also because we have a lot of activities going on. Sorry I dont remember who asked me a couple weeks ago, but no they dont celebrate thanksgiving here.
I dont really have stuff to say other than get ready for christmas. I can skype, but I wont know what time until Christmas eve. Hopefully I can remember my username and password. If not I will just talk through the phone. HAHAHA.
I dont think I will write next monday, but I will see some of you next week. If I dont see you...Merry cold and snowy Christmas. And remember everyone loves the younger brother. :)

Imaynaya Qashquanqui-Dec 9th
What up dudes? So I have been guiding my new companion around for the past week. His name is Elder Silva and he is from a city about 3 hours away called Trujillo. He is actually some what tall and he has about 6 months left in the mission and so far he has been a good companion. After tuesdays changes, I now have a lot of people from North America in my Zone. of the 24ish people in my zone 9 of them are fluent in english and from North America, and all but 1 of them have less than 7 months in the mission. So there is a lot of english speaking. It was kind of fun the last week when I was killing elder Fernandez because the members took us out to eat a couple of times, and we got some ice cream 1 day, oh it was great!
Also in the past week, 1 of the girls that I live with was having a baby. It really sucked because she woke up at about 3:30 in the morning screaming. Then like every 20 minutes she would have a contraction or what ever is going on that makes the girls scream. It wasnt until 8:00 when they actually went to the Hospital. it was terrible because I didnt get any sleep, also because I was thinking that I was going to be checking "deliver a baby" off the mission checklist...ok lezbihonest I was more worried about not having breakfast.
Yesterday I was able to watch the christmas devotional. I didnt really understand much of it but the music was amazing. Seeing elder nelson yesterday reminded me. Did you guys know that he has some funky eyes? I noticed that when I shoke his hand a couple weeks ago. Also yesterday we had a big meeting with a lot of missionary and ward counsels in the area, where Elder Calderon of the 70 talked and told us how to make this work of salvation better. It was the 2 time we heard from Elder Calderon so we must not be doing a good enough job.
As far as the work here, me and my companion are starting a new little branch group in the little town of Mesones muro, which is in our area. But other than that, it is pretty much the same, teach a lesson, knock on doors and eat rice, and sweating the whole time. Hope you all had a good week, and Happy Birthday to my favorite nephew Jaxon today.

December 2nd-Put Me In Coach!
Well I have oficially killed my first companion, Elder Fernandez, also known as father. So tomorrow I will recieve a different companion. Right now I am a zone leader, so I am the boss...until tomorrow morning. So I have to go back two weeks ago to talk about some more stuff. First we got to hear from Elder Nelson of the Qourem of the twelve. He must be use to the peruvian time because he showed up 45 minutes after he was suppose to talk. However his talk was amazing. Not only was it only the missionary in Chiclayo but also in the Piura mission, so there was about 430 missionarys there. But he shock everyones hand. When he shock my hand he said nice to meet you elder Olsen, I didnt know what to do so I just turned around and walked away. Last week, we also got to hear from Elder Calderon from the 70. He talked for 3 hours, which was a lot of spanish that I didnt understand much. But I am sure that is was good also.
My Thanksgiving was alright. I grew up the strength to ask my pensionista for mashed potatoes. She didnt understand me, so my companion asked again for me. But my lunch was normal only she took a little bit of rice off and added on some mashed potatoes.
Right now I am in Chiclayo until tomorrow morning, so my camera and list of things I was going to share with you are in my room. So I will have to talk more next time when I remember what to say. Until then Happy Birthday Taylor.

Though for the week. If I eat 2.5 cups of rice a day, how much grams would I have eaten when I finish the mission?
