February 17th--
Well another week bites the dust. This one was pretty normal. As far as the work here, it is good but the people here are very catholic, and do some other problems that we had my companion have been helping our ward and the other wards that are close by, so we are just now starting to have succes and good work going on here now, which is sad because I will probably be getting changed soon.
We are starting to have meetings in our little town again, Yesterday I went out there and we have 7 people attend church! Not to bad considered that the church only started with 6 people. We also have another little town that the president gave us to visit as well as our main city of Ferreñafe. Also Yesterday was our bishops birthday, so we had lunch with him yesterday. And we had one of the most famous plates here. Which was quinea pig. It is alright, mine could of had a little more meat, but hey, beggars cant be chosers. I think we are going back tonight to finish the tradation of smashing eggs on their heads.
Valentines day was pretty fun, in the morning and afternoon. We had a little mormon batalion thing with about 15 other members out in our little town of Mesones Muro. After that the bishop took us all out to eat, which is rare here. It was awesome except for the fact that I was sick for all of it. I didnt eat anything when to bishop took us out, Then I spend all the rest of the day trying to sleep and stay sane. Needless to say I didnt get any girls numbers...Actually I did...but it is to call them to set up a day to visit them...stay calm...Oh and when did the olympics start! I love those things, but nobody cares about that down here. How are we doing?
Well I know that I said I would sent pictures, but once again my computer wont let me...so maybe next week. But take this picture of a baby praying, that someone downloaded on this computer. Just to remember that everyone should pray! Until next time see you later

Happy Valentine's Day
February 10th-
Well happy valentines day this friday! I will probably celebrate it the same way as the past holidays...visiting people and knocking on doors. :) This past tuesday I had a multi zona meeting, it was really good, learned a lot. But after that my district had lunch with the president and his wife. Partly because he wanted to talk about some problems that we have in this area, and also partly because we live the furthest away from chiclayo(everyone else lived in chiclayo). The food was good, he took us out to eat some chicken. But I scared a little bit, he asked about the superbowl, and I told him what happened (from what you guys said). Then he asked who told me, and I said I watched it! He didnt find that very funny, I might have to change my sense of humor a little bit. I quickly told him that my family told me about.
Also I guess that I might as well tell you now...yeah I have gained some weight, but only in the cheeks. Not the butt cheeks. Next week I will send some pictures but I cant with this computer. I guess if you eat a shiz load of rice with about 10 things of bread everyday...you turn into a chipmunk! But it is all good, when my companion started in this area about 3 months ago, he had a size 30 waist, but not he is having a hard time fitting into some size 34 pants that his parents sent him. It could be worse.
Well I just wanted to finish be saying that it was around this time last year when I was thinking about what I should do for fall, looking for jobs and what classes to take, but after going to a dance on a friday night, I was told that I needed to do something else and serve a mission, even though I never ever thought I would ever serve one, nor wanted to. But I decided to call my dad and to start my papers to do this shiz, not because of the million people in Utah forcing all 19 year old kids (now 18) to serve a mission, but because I wanted to. And yet a couple of times I have thought against it, but I am glad that I have stuck through, I have learned so much in just the past 5 months, I dont remember a thing about chemistry! but it will still be around when I get back. Sorry anywho
Next time I hope to send some photos because it has been a while.

Mes de Amor!
February 3rd--
Howdy ya´ll! How are you all, in this hot february? Right now I am at the worst part of the heat here in Perú and it is bad! Just to give you a small picture of what it is like, I haven't slept with a blanket since november (not even a little bed sheet), I have been sleeping with a fan on me since a week before christmas, and I still sweat. Sorry it is a little gross... As of a couple of days ago, my pensionista is now making us clean and shine our shoes everyday before we leave, usually we just wipe them because an hour later you couldnt even tell that we did anything to them, but she is saying that we look so good in our shirt and tie, until you look at our shoes, so now she forces us to shine them every day. Which surprises me, because she isn't a member.
Today for lunch we asked for something other than rice to eat, I was stoked, but it was a plate full of french fries and cut up hot dog pieces on top. It was heavenly for me, just as an FYI, for if I randomly have a heart attack...now you know why.
Because of experiences that I experienced this past week, I am going to leave you with 2 things to remember
1. Satan knows that the second coming is soon, and he is working just as hard as all of us. We have to be strong and do what we know to do.
2. Always listen and follow the spirit, self explanatory.
Sorry next week I will have pictures to send again, if I get a computer that I could send them on.

We Dont Care, We're Driving Cadillacs in our Dreams.
January 27th.....
What up? So this week has been interesting. It started off weird at the very beginning, because I had a test on how well I was trained, pretty much how good of a missionary I am after 3 months in the mission field. Pretty much I got up in front of the president his wife, the people in the offices, assistents, and 30 other missionarys, and got asked random questions about preach my gospel...in spanish. But it wasnt terrible. Also right now, we are trying to strengthing the members in our ward, so my campanion and I have really just been teaching members, then sunday we had the presdent come out and visit our ward.
Right now everyone here is happy, celebrating, and drunk. Because Perú just won a battle against Chile, so now peru has 50,000km larger. In case you wanted to know.
Other than that I dont really have much to say, other then I am still knocking on doors an eating rice.

Pictures1. Is a museum that is the city Pomalca that we went to last week.
2. I swear I am not gay, even though it looks like it.
Question for the Week: Of all the missionarys here in Chiclayo, they are from 15 different countries...what are those 15 countries?

New Week...Jan 20th
So this past week I got about as sad as I got in the mission, but just for a day! The day started out bad because we were teaching an investigador. But they were watching the movie THE DARK KNIGHT!! Aww it was terrible, first time seeing it in spanish and then I cant even watch it! Terrible, then when I was teaching someone english and for the whole hour we were there, they were playing music in english! It was greatand terrible. Then to end the night, It was an elders birthday, so we had a small party, then watched the movie, The Other Side of Heaven. So that day was a speak english day. Also, did you know that Anne Hathaway is in that movie, pretty sure she aint mormon, if so she aint now.
Today, for p-day, my zone went to a museum in a city called Pomalca, it was cool, other then there was a lot of bugs,
Thanks Kezy for sending me your drawings, and thanks mom for telling me it is a panda, and not a picture of jaxon. Also you guys could probably watch to see who my new mission president is going to be, since the one I have now goes home in July.
Picture: The one is of christmas...it pretty much describes my relacionship with the members her.
