Brown Chicken Brown Cow

 March 17th
Well I dont really have that much to say today, I did get some cards yesterday...thank for the christmas and valentines cards. HAHA. To answer some questions, no I dont have time change, and when I am now is not the jungle, it is a city at the start of the jungle, so it is a city, that is green with some exhotic plants. As far as something cool that happened this past week, I confirmed someone a member of the church for the first time, that is terribly scary. Especially since it was in spanish.

Well since I dont really have more to say, nor much time..here is some pictures.

All You Are Is Dust In The Wind

March 10th-
Hey ya´ll! otra vez. So I didnt have much time last week, so i will speak a little bit more about stuff. :) My new area is 6 hours away from Chiclayo in a bus ride that is pretty much like driving up and down fairview canyon for 6 hours. It is good that I dont get carsick, I just wish that the other people didnt get carsick also...To describe my new area, it is like a very populate park city with the temperature of Las vegas in summer time. It is really really green here and almost every night it rains. Which I love! I kinda helps get rid of the smell of sweat. :) Last sunday it was raining so hard that our ward had less than half assistir. And for some reason I live on the fourth floor and a 5 story apartment building that nobody lives in...Sometimes the owner will sleep there on the 2nd floor but not much.

My new companion is Elder Quispe, he is one of the oldest missionarys in the mission, he has 26 years but only 16 months in the mission. He is from Perú also but is from Moquegua, it is close to chile. He is a really good companion. Also the other elders that are here in Jaen are really good also. One of them I had a writing class with at the University of Utah.

It is really good that I went and hiked Balance Rock with the broken foot, because now, my new area, is all hills! and I am hiking up and down multiple of them in church shoes, white shirt and tie...dope. The people here are really good and acceptive. Hoever they dont feed me that much here. I have a pensionista (the person that cooks for us) here also but she lives a hike away, but she is really good and nice. Today we went with her family to some place called Las Pirias (some town), and played volleyball and toke pictures. Just to let you guys know...my New pension has a scale, and I did gain weight in my last area, but I wont say how much.

Other than that I am still eating rice everyday, only now I eat it for breakfast too sometimes. And needless to say I am hiking a lot also. But things are really good.

This computer doesnt read my card to send new pictures, so here is a picture of me at a museum in Lambeyegue. maybe you have seen it already...sorry. But keep having fun and living life.

What Up

 March 3 2014
Well like I said I got transferred. I left my towns of dust and rice about an hour away from chiclayo, to go to a city called Jaen that is 6 hours away from Chiclayo in a bus and it is in the mountains. This
is one of the areas that people what to go to in the mission, because it is the start of the jungle. However it is also the hottest area in the mission, and one of the hottest in south america. About a month ago the temperature was around 50 degree celcious, but it is very humid also. This area doesnt have a winter, it just has summer and a time of rain. and right now I am in the middle of the rain season until may. It was raining so hard yesterday that there was like an inch of water going down all the streets. yeah I love it.

Sorry I dont have much time because a bounch of elders (from the little towns close to Jaen) are coming here for a meeting that we have tomorrow, and we have to go and get them. So I will try to tell you more next time. Just now that it takes more time for cards and letters to get here now. :) sorry take more next time.

Feb 24th-

Another one bites the dust and another week down and another week down and another one bites the dust. Well this week we started off with watching the movie Ephraims Rescue for p-day. That movie is pretty sweet you should watch it, even though it is really cheesy at the beginning, and then we also started to watch the 3 parts of work and the glory with a family members for there home evenings. I like movies.

Something that happening this week is that it RAINED!! I mighted have ran around in it for a little second. But that was all that lasted, it wasnt even a sprinkle, it didnt even cover all of the ground. But hey begars cant be chosers. I have a question though, I heard that they made gay marriage legal in Utah now, is that true?

So like I said last week about me most liking having a change here pretty soon...Well it is happening, today is my last day here in the town of Ferreñafe, tomorrow I leave super early to go to my new area, I dont know where I am going but I will find out in out meeting tomorrow morning. So after this email I am going to say bye to my friends that I have made for the past 5 months (little less than 5) we already had the last lunch with my pension, and she let me chose what to eat...well we didnt have rice!

But hope that you are all doing well and having fun! Just remember that no matter what situation your in, you can always make it a fun situation.

Well the picture is of me making manjar blanco, which is like peanut butter, but much better. I like this picture because it shows the fat that I have gotten on my cheeks, and also on of the many pictures that catholics have. It is above my shoulder.
