Jaén

March 31st
Well I would have to say this has been the most spiritual week that i have had so far, I wont say why completely. but it was really good. We did have the Presidente Risso come by and visit us and do interviews. Since he was here so were his assistents, so for one day i went out and had the assistent as my companion. I was a little bit nervous!

This upcoming week is conference, we here are pretty stoked because there is going to be a ton of people in the stake center, (5 wards and 2 branches) and we are hoping they bring friends. Also since there are so many of us NorthAmericans here we might go in a different room and watch it in english! also we might just party for the heck of it.

I only have one question. Whats going on in Venezuela. we now have like 4 new missionaries, supposively they pulled everyone out of the country or something.

Also i watched 17 miracles today for p-day it is a good movie. I also so comercials for Rio 2 and capitan america 2 ...strange...

when you hike a mountain in church clothes y shoes to visit a family that isnt there. you just take a break for 10 minutes. Just watching about 1/10 of my sheep.

this is the dad of the cool family. He isnt a member and he never actually talked to missionaries until I went to ferreñafe. But last monday he was here for work, called me up and we met up, it was really cool. We are in the center of jaen and yes that is a catholic church behind us.

Tense Week

March 24th
Well this past week I got to be companions with another northamerican, named elder Greene who is from Utah also. He is my zone leader, and is freaking funny, he also goes home with the president in June. Also he is like a motivational dude. He during his mission, has lost around 100 pounds. He started his mission at 280, and now I am almost fater that he is. But it was a good time.

Also like I said, we will really far from Chiclayo. But the president is coming to spend this week with us, do interviews and to teach us, also to pick a new Branch president in an area that is another 4 hours from where I am.

But I am still just trucking along. This area that I am in, has to seasons. Summer and Rain season. Right now it is ending rain season, but it is freakin hot!! We have clouds a lot of times, but we still sweat all day, except for when we are showering. But it really isnt all that bad. I am use to it, until summer season starts in May.

Well 1 picture is to show what my new area is kindof like. It is in a city about 30 minutes from my area, But it was fun. And the other are some of the return missionaries that we worked with in Ferreñafe. There was about 16 so we were missing some.

Things are good here chanchos.
