December 8th--
Well how are all of ya´ll this week? We didnt really have a bunch happen again, but we are going to be recieving another visit from our dear president Williams. Tomorrow we will be having Christmas a little early. He is not going to have time in the future to come and visit us here in cajamarca in the next couple of weeks. So we are going to have a little party tomorrow with him and pretend like it is christmas. Also next week we will be having changes, and we dont really know anything yet, but it is almost 99% that either Elder Murphy or I will have a change. So This week that is coming will have more fun stuff that I will explain next week. But until then...I still dont really have much. Sorry.

December 1st--
Well how are all of you guys? How was your Thanksgiving? This week I happened to spend Thanksgiving with 2 white kids, the morning I was with Elder Rutter, and in the afternoon I was with Elder Murphy. However with either one of them, we didnt do anything for Thanksgiving, we just kept working and visiting people like normal.
However for some good news, we did end up finding someone that loves us enough to be our "mom". Our pensionista is a member that just opened her restaurant, so we are now out of eating in the Market, and have upgraded for a restaurant.
Things are all good, with me here, I am realing enjoying the temperature of more or less 70 degrees, without sweating, and wearing a sweater at the night time.

Hello once again from Cajamarca Perú! Well this week was really hard for me and elder murphy, because we have been sick since Tuesday morning. So the work here in our area was not very good, and overall it was just a bad week. We are doing a little better now so hopefully we will be able to work more and harder this week. However here in this ward we are 6 missionaries! So we are working really hard and overall this ward is getting better and the attendance in sundays is going up. But much thanks to the members for there help.
As for some bad news, that women that I talked about a couple of weeks ago, about the importance of home teaching. Her sister died yesterday, so eveyone is a little sad over here and we are just trying to help that sister feel better.
So I realized it has been a while since I have sent a picture to you guys so I am repenting and sending one. It isnt really pretty put hey..whateve.
Questions? Hope that you all have a good Thanksgiving and that you guys keep trying to help people.

Well Hello ya´ll, This week was a little hard because I was nice and sick. Turned out that we had 2 really cold days in a row, and because of that I got a little sick with a cold, so working here was really hard. I walked around with a sweater and a coat on top of that. It really wasnt all that cold here, but after the heat of chiclayo, it feels really cold here. It is probably like 50 degrees.
This week we kind of had a little party because a miember is going to sierve a mission in Uruaguay and leaves tomorrow. So we kind of had a farewell party on Saturday, and it pretty fun, until they made me give a little speech...it was a little scary, but I think that it turned out good.
Also today we enjoying playing soccer for about 2 hours. President williams, reciently, like when we got here to this area, banned that we can go out to areas to look at touristic things. Which is a little sad because this is the zone that has the most touristic things...but we cant go to them anymore, so we just play a lot of soccer now prettymuch.
Sorry this isnt very much, but things are pretty much the same here. Have any questions?

One More Time
November 10th-
Well...how have you guys been? I pretty much have just been living a normal missionary life. Nothing new happened to me this week. Except for I did find out that, really nice and expensive leather shoes, get ruined with a little bit of rain. But that is alright, that is why boots exist. Questions?

We Sleep Until the Sun Goes Down
November 3rd-
Well nothing special really happened this week. It is starting to rain a lot more here, which is making me really happy. Elder Murphy didnt understand why I went dancing and runing in the rain, the first time that rained here. Well it is because I love rain, and it never rains in Chicalyo, so I had to celebrate a little.
Well this is also the day of those transfers...no I dont have a transfer, nor Elder Murphy, so this will be the first time that I will be with a companion for 3 transfers, or 4.5months. so we are going to have fun, and hopefully we will be able to help out this ward that we are/have been in for some time now.
A little clarification...I havent not played the piano in any of my areas, until this one where I am an not. And even with that I only play for about 5 minutes after district meetings once a week. So I dont really remember how to play anything, I am trying to remind myself.
As for something spirtual this week. This week I learned of the importance of home teaching! I always thought of how dumb it was to go and visit the bishop, with the old bishop, when I was a 12 year old kid, yet I also didnt like how my Dad ALMOST always made me give the message. But here with elder Murphy, we found a old women who is a member for about 30 years, but cant go to church because she has to take care of her sister that is dieing. So we have been visiting here for about 5 weeks, twice a week, and just this past week, she starting bawling, explaining just how grateful she is that we visit her, because nobody visits her, not even her own family. Then she said that she will always pray for us, even when we go home...Then we laughed a little because she then asked us what our names are. She still doesnt know our names. But it was just weird and cool to see, that just a simple little visit can make someone VERY happy. Then I thought about those 80 widows that President Monson always visited when he was a bishop, and how they were very grateful.....anywho....
Questions? oh and Happy late Halloween, we didnt do anything special, we actually forgot that is was halloween.

Come See What We Have Here
October 27th-
Hello ya´ll. Well this past week was most interesting. Since the people here are really catholic, there was a catholic "Saint" going around this week, el señor de los milagros. During this whole month they celebrate and carry around this saint, and it just happened to be that is past week they happened to do it in our area. Everyone just kept starring at us wondering why we werent carrying it around, and why we werent dressed it purple....needless to say it was weird, but we did find some members, that we know have to talk to. :)
Also this week. we had the visit from Elder Waddell, the first consolor of the area seventy. He came and spoke to everyone in chiclayo, but decided to come and pay us a special visit. We were with him Friday from 11am-7pm without lunch. But it was really good he said a lot of good stuff that we can use to help more people. Also we were able to take a picture with him, unlike the 200 missionarys in Chiclayo...see foto.
Also Saturday and Sunday we were able to listen to Elder Cabrera for stake conference, interesting fact...Both Elder Waddell and Elder Cabrera started out saying the exact same things, with the exact same scriptures, but neither one of them planned on talking about that subject. As for the musical numbers. With elder Waddell we were able to get a couple of us together, and we sang a song, and I think it came out alright. For Elder Cabrera, I was going to play the piano to the song lord I will follow thee and this older elder was going to sing, in the priesthood session. However once President Williams came, he said that we shouldnt go to that session...so we didnt go or do it. :)
Everything is all good down here, we just had a interesting time and week here, but we are good. Questions?

Stress-Doesn't Exist!
October 20th-
Well this week was pretty normal, but we did have a couple of changes, with other elders. Tuesday I was with some Elder from the District, and then Wednesday I was with the Zone leaders, and we just kept on working and doing some work. It was cool to learn and work with some other people I always do like those little changes that we have every once and a while.
This week will be a little stressful. We are having Elder Waddell, from the Area Seventy come and speak to all the missionaries, so we were going to go down to Chiclayo where every missionary (all 240) if us would of listened to him, but he wants to come up to visit the 30 of us here in Cajamarca seperately....oh snap. Plus we have stake conference this saturday and sunday, where Elder Rene Cabrera (also from the seventy) is going to be speaking to us. and somehow I got roped into doing a special music number for both of them. I have no idea what I am going to do (sing, play the piano), but it will be fun. Maybe I will just try to remember how to play Pirates of the Carribean on the piano....That is church appropriate...right? Oh and the mission president will be here for all of those days also.
Things here are still really good with me, it has started to get a little bit hotter here, but it still sweater weather for me. But Questions? Sorry I will send pictures, once I start taking some.
