Kissing Goodbye

June 29th-
Well the moment that everyone has been waiting for for about 6 months has finally came, President Williams has finally made the last changes and we are now going to belong to La Misión Trujillo Norte, starting on Wednesday morning. And neither Elder Henry o I have a change, so we are going to Trujillo. Elder Henry and I will be going there on Wednesday afternoon to meet the President and his wife, stay the night and on Thursday morning, we will be going to the Temple...and in the afternoon we will be having our leaderhsip training meeting. I am really happy right now, really sad because I have to meet everyone in the new mission and I am leaving all of my friends, but I like adventures and I am ready to tackle this one.

Ever since yesterday we have been recieving phone calls from Chiclayo and Trujillo all with what is going down, what we need to do, and how thinks how are going to be. So I am still confused and I dont really know much about what is going on, but this will be a very fun week with a lot of adventure. Everyday will be different.

Sorry dont have much time, but I wish you all the best, happy 4th of July to all, hopefully you all have a great week.

I Can Only Imagine

June 22-
I have to admit, this week was wonderful. This week Peru was able to have a visit of very important people, and we have been blessed to be able to have a new temple here on earth. Elder Bednar came with Presidente Uchtdorf, to dedicate the Trujillo Templo. They dedicated it with 3 different sessions, which was new to me. But each session was different as far as the talks that were given, but they had the same prayer. Each session was wonderful, and at the end of the day yesterday, I felt like I have had a general conference, but just between. President Uchtdorf, Elder bednar, and the area presidency of the north west southamerica area. I am now just counting down the days until I will be able to go into the temple. Also on Saturday we were able to watch the culture event that they had to celebrate the temple. It was the first tiime that I have ever seen one of those, and it was really cool. I liked it even more, because I saw people from Cajamarca that I knew on the video as well as people from Chiclayo.

Well this is the last week that we will belong to the chiclayo mission. Next week they will call us to give the last emergency transfers, so technically I still might get transferred, but Next week everything will be set in stone, and president Williams will say goodbye to the 60 of us that he has to send to the new mission.

Hope that you all had a great fathers day, and that you have a great week, see ya later.

Llamados a Servir

June 15th-
Well I am writing, with not much time again, but I am writing you guys being really happy. This is the week in which the Trujillo Temple will be dedicated! On Saturday we will watch the cultural event in the Church, and then on Sunday I am going to watch 3 different sessions of the temple being dedicated. Everyone is really excited, but I am even more excited because this last week I recieved a phone call from the office of the mission of Trujillo, after a long conversacion, I asked if the temple is in the Trujillo Norte mission or in Trujillo Sur mission, and it will be in the Norte which I will be in. The assistent then told me that we as missionaries we`ll able to go the temple. So I am pretty stoked!

Other than that the only other thing that was cool, is that a patriarch came down here to guadalupe yesterday to give their blessings, and more the 30 people got there blessings, the members here are very faithful, and very obedient, they are good examples for me and everyone.

Ten Thousand Hours

June 8th--
Well Hello ya´ll, Last week was rather interesting for me.  Tuesday we had transfers, and every companionship of the zone had a transfer, except us. But Tuesday night we went to chiclayo for the last leadership training meeting. It was really good, we talked a lot about the Atonement and we finished eating a nice Mcdonald Bigmac. After that we all took pictures, because 10 of the 40 leaders are going to the Trujillo norte mission. So I took pictures with my friends and sad goodbye. I will send one of those pictures but this compu ter doesnt read my memory card, so next week. Than after the meeting we said goodbye to Chiclayo (Because it was the last time w e went unless there is an  emergency that happens within the next 3 weeks) and came back to Guadalupe. Then on Friday we had o ur zone training, so there was when we meet all of the new guys that are  in the zone. But  other than that it wasnt to interesting.

The weather here is still the same, it is really  really hot from 9am-4pm  but at nighttime it is a little cooler. But elder henry and I still sleep with the fan going through the night. Hope that you all have  a good and happy week.

June 1st
Well happy june 1st to you all. Tomorrow is the last transfer that the Misión Perú Chiclayo is going to have before the mission is split. and neither i or elder henry has a transfer, so in other words, unless president Williams choses to do an emergency transfer within 4 weeks I will be going to Trujillo with Elder Henry. This week I will be going to Chiclayo to have another leadership training meeting, and it might be my last time going to Chiclayo....little weird to think about.

Last week nothing special really happened, but saturday was the last day of the Trujillo Temple open house, we have had a lot of success to have people going there, on saturday the 16  of may, there was 10'000 people that went to it. And ever since then more and more people were getting to the temple. Our branch went to the Temple on the 22nd of may, and they were able to run into the temple president, mission presidente, and Elder Uceda the president of the area seventy, so it was a wonder experience for them to see the temple for the first time in their lifes. as well as meeting those men. Really nice to see the change in the branch after that experience. Wish you all a good week!

I Will Wait

May 25th-
Well this week has just flew by! and unfortunately it was my last week of being 20, but whatever it was fun being 20 while it lasted. For my birthday we didnt really do anything mainly because nobody new that it was my birthday. However the did sing to me in church on sunday, my pensions husband told the elderes quorum and my birthday was yesterday. So they sang then got mad that I didnt tell any of them.

But due to not much time, I wish you all a happy last week of may and happyness.

May 18th--

Well, it has been quite a long time since the last time I have actually wrote something. Partly because I have had leadership training meetings, having to change our rooms, as well as some other problems so I havent really had much time on mondays to write. But everything here is really good. Elder Henry and I are still doing well, we enjoyed talking to our families for mothers day, and he was able to talk to his family that is in Africa. My area that I am in now, is a little far from Chiclayo, and last week we had a multi zone meeting, where I was able to see some friends most likely for the last time before the mission split. Next week I will try to send picures, but I cant on this computer.

Hopefully everything went well with the Taylors wedding. From the few pictures that I have seen looks like it went well, everyone had fun and that she didnt change her mind afterall. Hopefully that you all have a good week this week, as I enjoy my last couple of days being 20, and as I enjoy the last couple of days with a little bit of hair on my head.
