Hello again ya´ll,
Happyness: As I said last week, Thursday was my companions birthday, so we (our latino roomies and I) got a cake when we went downtown. We sang happy birthday to him in the cafeteria, but we had to stop halfway through because supposively we can´t sing there. SO later at like 9:30 we had a little party in our room, and yes I did shove his face in his cake. Twice. We found out that we are going to the temple every p-day until we leave the CCM, so I did go the temple again this morning. We saw some americans in the grocery store today speaking english, and we were so excited to hear english that we went and talked to them...it was really awkward.
Sadness: Also last week, we had an elder in our district go home which made all of us really sad. But after words we talked as a district together, and we all realized that it is really sad being this far away from our families, women, raspberries, and cars. However we are a new family that love and care for each and everyone of us, even after 2 weeks, and leaving them and here right now, would be just as hard as leaving the life that i had in Utah. Also on tuesday morning about 80-90 missionarys left here to go into the field, which included my awesomely funny latino roomates (elders Pacheco, Pequeno, Vargas, and Aguilar), which me and elder henry already miss. So the CCM was really empty and boring until this morning when a whole bunch of newbies showed up, 50 of them are north americans. I haven´t even met my roomies yet, but I know they are from America.
Awesomeness: As for some awesome news. I havent lost in a single sport game yet, in which includes, Futbol, americano futbol, ping pong (theballs suck), and volleyball! um, some elder yesterday told me that he really like my hair, and that kinda freaked me out, so I got a haircut today.
Randomness: We had pizza here on wednesday when all the latinos were gone, so that was a little heavenly like. Also not to freak anyone out...mom... but I did experience a earthquake yesterday. Supposively there was a 7.0 one in a city far away from lima, but we still felt it, and it was freaken AWESOME!!! it lasted for like 30 seconds and was exciting so ....check that off the mission bucket list.
Lastly all I will say about your sinners of Provo town!! There is still time for all ya´ll to choose the right and make the right choice of being a Ute. I will forgive your prior comments of rudeness, and uncorrect statements, and will let you guys bangwagon and like the Utes.
Tupanchee Kama Wawa
Elder Tyrone Mufasa Olsen
p.s. I never did here a score of the byu utah game...will someone tell what it was? Also tell me more about the earthquake awesomeness. I pretty much live in a marriott prison. I don´t get to see of hear much of anything.
