Hey guys en this new week. En case you guys havent known. The world cup of 2014 started this past thursday. If you guys also havent noticed the NBA finals have also started...actually they are finished. It is rather funny here because every single soccer game of the world cup, is like the superbowl, and every one has to watch the game. Which I dont really know why because Perú isn´t even in the world cup, but oh well. Me and my companion have not watched a single game, but yet we know every single thing that has happened because right now, this is the only thing people talk about. So if you ask me, I think that the Netherlands are going to win. However yesterday we were waiting for our dinner and the person we were with wanted to watch soccer. But there wasnt any games going on. So she turned it on to the NBA finals. Needless to say I was awesome! and I was still a little bit obedient, but we didnt watch the last 8 minutes, but I still think that san antonio won. So we should have had cable when I was younger to enjoy this stuff.
Another thing that happened this week is I said goodbye to my friend Elder Greene, who finished his mission. (I said goodbye to him thursday during the opening ceremonies of the world cup. So we also saw a little bit of that in the bus terminal.) We had a little party monday, when we went to a members house and made scones and hot chocolate (even though it was really hot already). But everyone here was a little sad thursday.
Other than that, the only other thing to say. Is that I have another change, another transfer. I will be leaving in about an hour, to go back to the desert of Chiclayo for the 6 hour bus ride. I dont know where i am going, but I will miss the hills and rains of Jaen. Hope you all have a good week and Happy late Fathers day.
