Saying Goodbye Parte 2

Jan 26th

( Tanner said in an email several weeks ago that a change was going to take place but he was not allowed to discuss it until certain things were announced.

Last week the church announced the open house of the Trijillo Peru Temple in June.  In connection with that the church is going to split Tanner's mission and create a new mission.

Depending on where he is at the time, he may be part of the new mission and may not.  Just thought I would let you know this little tidbit of news.)

Well I happened to get transferred this week, and I will find out where I will go tomorrow, when I have our transfer meeting. But i have to admit I am going to miss Cajamarca a lot. I am going to miss the rain and the cold weather. This whole last week, the was not a single day in which it did not rain. And after 6 months of being in Cajamarca I am definetly adapted to wearing a coat or sweater, with my boots for all of the rain and cold weather that we had. Also since this is the area where I have the most time, i have also been able to get to know the members really well. So overall it was really sad to leave Cajamarca.

Right now I am in Chiclayo, in the office of the mission, and ever since I got here at 5pm until now...I have been sweating (sorry a little gross). I have gone from the middle of winter in cajamarca to now being in the middle of summer in Chiclayo. So needless to say I am stoked to find out where I am going, and sad that I am leaving, as well as hoping that my new companion doesnt mind the smell of sweat.

Well next week I will probably send you a picture and will let you know where I am. But for now hope you all have a good week and stay happy.

Tupananchis kama wawa.
