October 6th--
Well sorry that I couldnt write you guys last week, things have been a little crazy but all good down here in Peru. This past week, we had the opportunity to have our good old president come up to Cajamarca and talk to us and do some interviews. Probably wasnt very surprising that in my interview, we still just argued and talked about BYU UTAH, and I am still 100% sure that I am still winning that battle that we are having.
The work here is still the same, the people are hard to teach and I am walking around with a sweater and coat on. YES!! It really isnt that cold, only like 60 degrees, but after being in Chiclayo and Jaén, it feels really cold to me.
Now I wasnt able to listen to conference yesterday or saturday. Because it was voting weekend here in Peru. So it was a little crazy last week because everyone was chanting and saying VOTE FOR ME!! But it is illegal to have public meetings the day of voting (Suday) and the day before (saturday) So we couldnt go to the church to watch conference. So not anyone in Peru will see conference until this saturday and Sunday, unless they watch it on the Internet. I am sure that it was great and that you guys loved it....but we can talk about it next week. :)
Picture: Like I said where I am now is really catholic, and for a really long time they are catholic, So this is a picture of me in front on a catholic Cathedral from 1840ish
