October 13th--
Hey fam! Well this week has been pretty normal, we worked and visited and talked, while eating a lot of rice. But we were able to watch conference again, and it was awesome, as always! I was also lucky enough to enjoy watching it in english. So my spanish now is probably really bad, after talking to Elder Murphy in english all the time, and listening to things in english.
Out of all the talks I noticed that they talked a lot of a couple of topics. namely...president Thomas Monson, the importance of having the gospel in the home, role of parents, jesucrist, and loving everyone (wish they talked about that one a long time ago) especially the poor and needy. I would talk more about that stuff, but I am pretty sure that you guys have already read and heard them. However our of all the conferences I liked the saturday afternoon one the most.
However when Elder Perry told the story about the little girl telling her mom that it is time to pray. the little girl said, what is more important, fruit or a prayer. I most admit that I did say "it depends on what type of fruit it is".
Sorry I dont really have more to say, but Hope that you are all doing good.
