Country Grammer

April 27th--

Well, last tuesday we had our transfer meeting. And right at the very beginning of the meeting, the assistants got up and said. "We have to give 54 missionaries to the new mission that is being formed, and today we have decided and will anounce the first 19 that are going to be in the new mission." I felt that I was going to be one of them. Then they called my name, and anounced my new area, and it will be in the Trujillo Norte Misión. I am in an area called Guadalupe which is just about 1.5 hours from Chiclayo and 2 hours away from Trujillo. And starting the end of June I will have another new president and another mission. After the Transfer meeting, President williams called us into his office, and told us with tears in his eyes "I have never prayed or fasted so much in my life like I have been for the past 4 months, ever since they told me how many missionarys I have to give up. I have been watching you guys for a long time and the lord has called you guys to be the lideres of the new mission. I wish that I could just give up the lazy elderes, but I cant do that. It hurts me to say bye to you guys, but the Lord is calling you to go to the new mission." It was a little sad to see him crying, but it made me feel good. Made me realize just how much he follows the Lord and promptings of the spirt, and even though it make me a little sad to change missions...it will be okay. Because I think I will be able to see the New templo in Trujillo. As well as I might see some of my old friends that I met in the CCM.

My new companion just happens to be, the man that I met in the Manti templo 2 weeks before coming on the mission, the same man that sat next to me in the 11 hour plane ride without watching a movie, the same man that was with me 24/7 in the CCM, the same man that was there to correct me for the first time my spanish. The same man that was with me in Jaen and Cajamarca. Yeah it is the one and only Elder Henry. Everyone was really surprised, but I think we were the most surprised.

Other than that, not much to report, but I will try to send pictures next time. Questions?

Tupanachis kama wawa.
