Temperature

March 30th--

Howdy ya´ll otra vez! Weeks are going by so fast now. I feel like just yesterday I was in this same seat telling you guys the exact same thing that I am going to say right now. Time is flying!

There still is no progresss in paving the streets, they havent done anything now for about 2 weeks, so it is still a little ugly. It is even worse because the garbage trucks cant get around to pick up garbage, so there are just big smelly piles of garbage in street corners. But I am pretty sure that this week they are going to do something. Peru is still having random weather. It is still really hot here in pomalca, and even though it hasnt rained here this week, it is still raining in other city so much that it is destroying bridges and streets, taking out houses and things like that.

As for something new that happened this week...I ended going to the clinic. because due to the increase amount of dust here in pomalca. I had the good luck of letting a rock get stuck in my eye. So I ended up winning a free trip to chiclayo to get a litle rock out of my eye. My eye is all good now, things a just a little blurry but the doctor said that that should pass soon. I am now trying to tackle my new challenge of eye drops though. They suck!! I hate doing them, they hurt, and my companion has had to strap me down to my bed so that he can do the hard work for me...he is a good companion.
