April 6th--
Howdy. Happy late easter, and happy late general Conference!! It was a wonderful experience for me as always, to listen to our leaders and profet. My favorite sessions were saturday morning, and also sunday afternoon. However in each session was field with a lot of good stuff. It was also good to hear them anounce 3 new temples. Even though none of them are for Chiclayo, at least we will have 3 more in the world. But it makes me even happier to think that in a couple of months I will see the dedication of the Trujillo (3 hours away from chiclayo) Peru temple in just acouple of months.
This week was pretty normal, as for the progress in the street pavement....not much. They have put acouple of sidewalks up, but still no progress in paving the street. Tomorrow i will be having our monthly training meeting that we have, and so I will be going to chiclayo again to see all the zone leaders. My favorite part about these meetings is that we eat american food for lunch!!! Last month I had chilis for the first time in my life. Needless to see, I learn a lot in those meetings, as well as I get to see my friends....and american food.
